The Alpine Headband is a double knit headband that’s a great project for the beginner wanting to expand their skills.
When I started designing Alpine, I wanted a headband that felt both classic and modern — something you could make in your favorite team colors, neutral shades, or rich jewel tones. The double-knit technique was the perfect choice. It creates a fabric that’s warm, squishy, and reversible — no wrong side, just two sides of cozy perfection.
This is a great way for me to use remnants. I have way more than I thought and the options for solid color with solid color or solid color with a stripe, ombre or variegated or any combination can be fun.
The pattern will be available in November at https://www.etsy.com/shop/designbcb.
